After attending Kacey Musgraves's performance at the Chicago Theatre on February 12th, I have to say that I agree with the other reviews that the show was a major letdown. My husband and I had been looking forward to this event for about three months and were thrilled about the opportunity to see Kacey Musgraves. She was an hour and a half late to her own show (scheduled for 8:00 p.m., she appeared at 9:30 p.m.) without offering any apology or explanation. Throughout the long wait, there was no communication about the delay or when the show might begin. Once she finally appeared, she spent most of her time interacting with the audience rather than performing. After enduring about an hour of the disappointing show, my husband and I decided to leave. Before accepting any more money for her supposed "concert," she really needs to improve her professionalism and showmanship.
